…in PS1 form

That’s right; the classic joke about a racing sequel to the 2015 smash hit Bloodborne is now official! Or, at least, unofficially official, as it’s being made by the same devs as the Bloodborne PSX demake that released earlier this year.
Revealed in a tweet by lead programmer Lilith Walther, or @b0tster on Twitter, early this morning, it shows a short teaser of the hunter walking towards a very style-appropriate bike and the tentative release date of “when it’s ready”.
The tweet coincided with Bloodborne’s 7th anniversary, likely an intentional move to celebrate From Software’s fantastic gothic horror action RPG.
This isn’t the first time the demake team has presented Bloodborne Kart, however, as an April Fool’s joke from last year showed two low-poly hunters blazing around Yharnam.
Right now it’s hard to tell if the actual game will be much like this or something new entirely, but this is certainly one way that it could end up.
Either way, judging by the quality of Bloodborne PSX – which provides a faithful PS1 recreation of the game’s first main area – however the Kart racer comes out will no doubt be a quality experience.
