Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery gets a new trailer ahead of Toronto International Film Festival debut

Detective Benoit Blanc returns in this sequel to the 2019 murder mystery film, Knives Out. Titled Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, not much has been divulged about the film until today. A new teaser trailer gives us the setting, set-up, and suspects with an all new cast. Except for Daniel Craig, obviously, who reprises his role as Benoit Blanc.
Set on a private Greek island, tech billionaire Miles Bron (Edward Norton) invites his friends to a murder-mystery themed party. However, the game becomes reality when murder comes to the island. Joining Craig and Norton is an all-star cast, including Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline, Dave Bautista, and Kate Hudson. In a Twitter post, director Rian Johnson said he “couldn’t be prouder” of the cast and teases “much, much more to come”.

The film will stream on Netflix from December 23rd, a nice little Christmas present. However, it will debut this Saturday, September 10th, at the Toronto International Film Festival. But, if you can’t wait until Christmas and aren’t already going to Toronto, the film will also get a screening at the London Film Festival on October 16th. Tickets for the festival go on sale to the general public next Tuesday, September 13th.
