Keanu is back butting heads in a new trailer for John Wick: Chapter 4

Alongside myriad reveals at San Diego Comic Con, including a D&D movie and an avalanche of Marvel media, John Wick: Chapter 4 got a new trailer. With the last installment in the franchise releasing in 2019, Chapter 4 was meant to release back in 2021. However, Lionsgate pushed the film back due to the pandemic and Keanu Reeves’ commitments to The Matrix Resurrections. The film will now release on March 24th, 2023.
The new trailer shows off some of the action we’ll be expecting. As well as potential villains played by Donnie Yen and Bill Skarsgård. As Yen’s character says “not even you can kill everyone”, we see Wick trying his best to.

Alongside the trailer, Lionsgate is asking fans in the US and Canada to text 310-564-8005 for “classified updates”. So, if you’re looking forward to the movie and want exclusive details ahead of release (and live in North America), you’d better get texting!
Other Wick works in production

There is also a fifth entry to the series in development that was initially intended to be shot back-to-back with Chapter 4. However, the aforementioned pandemic and scheduling conflicts have likely put a spanner in those works. Still, it’s likely that John Wick 5 is still planned and will go into development once Chapter 4 is done.
As well as another movie, there’s also a John Wick TV series in the works. Called The Continental, the project was greenlit back in January of 2018, and in 2021 it was revealed that the series is set in the 1970s. Since then, we’ve had a drip feed of casting. With Mel Gibson, Peter Greene, and Katie McGrath among those to be confirmed for the series.
