Nacon showed off some of their upcoming titles, including RoboCop: Rogue City and The Lord of the Rings: Gollum

French company Nacon held a games showcase yesterday, July 7th. In this showcase, they gave first looks at a variety of games, including RoboCop: Rogue City. The game lets you fight crime as the eponymous cyborg policeman in a fast-paced FPS. We also saw the first gameplay of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, which puts you as Sméagol before the events of The Lord of the Rings. The showcase ended on a cinematic teaser for a new Terminator game that just showed the signature endoskeleton.
There was also a bunch of other games. For example, another entry in the high-fantasy football series Blood Bowl. A final release date for Session: Skate Sim. And Clash: Artifacts of Chaos, a new game in the action-fighting game series Zeno Clash.
You can watch the full showcase below:
At the moment, it’s unknown where the RoboCop game comes in the series’ timeline. However, what we do know is that you’ll be tackling a crimewave in Detroit, and Peter Weller will be reprising his role as Alex Murphy, the robotic cop himself. And while we only got glimpses of gameplay, it looks like you’ll get RoboCop’s targeting system, as well as the ability to kick dumpsters and throw baddies into walls.

Meanwhile, over at The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, it looks to be a stealth action-adventure game with the corrupted Sméagol sticking to the shadows. With how Gollum is, it’s unlikely the game will put you in any direct confrontations. So, quick and smart thinking will likely be central to Gollum’s gameplay.
