Avatar Sequel Confirmed! Avatar: The Way Of Water

Just today, the Avatar: The Way of Water movie teaser trailer was released on Youtube. It divulges several important details about the movie!

According to the description, the movie is set more than a decade after the events of the original Avatar. The movie will be focused on the struggles and trials of Jake Sully’s (the original protagonist) family on Pandora. So, on top of some returning characters like Neytiri, the movie will also feature a whole new younger cast as well!

The trailer shows off impressive vistas of lush jungles, vibrant corals and enthralling floating islands. There is no doubt that the movie will not disappoint from a visual standpoint. Furthermore, we can see that CGI for the Na’vi is still highly detailed, having great expression and movement.

The overall tone of this trailer is very serene and so I wonder if James Cameron intends to make this movie more of a spiritual journey. With family being such a central theme in the movie, it would make sense if that were the case.
