Xbox and Bethesda games showcase announced for June 12

In lieu of E3’s cancellation, Xbox will be hosting their summer showcase independently

So when the ActiBlizz acquisition goes through, will it be the “Xbox & Bethesda & Activision & Blizzard Showcase”?

In a press release today, April 28th, Microsoft announced that they will be hosting a game showcase on June 12th. Titled the “Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase”, it will feature upcoming titles from the studio, Bethesda, and other partners. The event will start at 10 a.m. PT (5 p.m. GMT).

The post goes on to say that the show will “include everything you need to know about the diverse lineup of games coming soon to the Xbox ecosystem, including upcoming releases to Game Pass.”

No doubt, both companies will show off their hotly anticipated releases when the time comes. However, neither company has mentioned any specific titles at this stage.

This announcement comes less than a month after the ESA announced that E3 2022 is cancelled this year. With the event usually serving as an aggregate for gaming showcases, many companies will likely hold their own events similar to this.

It's game time!

On June 12th, you can watch the stream on the company’s YouTube or Twitch channels, alongside a few other outlets. The press release says that they will stream the event in over 30 languages, too.

Until then, however, we’ll just have to wait and see what both Xbox and Bethesda have in store for us. And don’t you worry, we here at All Maverick will be chomping at the bit to cover the event and every game that gets shown off.

Not to worry, Game Showcases are our specialty
