Today, Horizon Forbidden West, Sony’s highly anticipated action role-playing game is now finally available to play after its delay from August 2021. The reason for this delay was because studio Guerilla Games wanted to avoid crunch and deliver a quality experience according to Director Mathijs De Jonge, which garnered praise from both players and developers in the gaming community.
In particular, such support has now blossomed into several pieces of official artwork from the studios behind titles such as Ghost of Tsushima, Concrete Genie, The Last of Us, Days Gone and God of War, congratulating the studio on a successful release!
I greatly appreciate the camaraderie between studios and the wholesome interactions between fanbases. Furthermore, this may even imply crossovers in the form of events and Easter eggs could take place between these franchises given their friendly relations, but of course that’s merely speculation.
