I’d like to thank my good friend Jaya for making me aware of the absolute gem that is ‘Drag Her’.
Drag Her! is lovingly hand-animated; playing out against a backdrop of ridiculous stages and with a meaty package of features. The goal: a core fighting game experience that is approachable, fun to play, and fundamentally stupid to watch.

In all honesty, the idea of Stiletto Kicking an opponent is an amazing concept but I’d like to raise you one! A Roundhouse Stileto Kick! Also, the fact that all of the animations are hand-drawn is a beautiful and personal touch. It shows the passion that the development team must-have for this project!

This project has also licenced the usage of some actual real-life drag stars from RuPaul’s Drag Race and also Dragula. With the promise of even more characters being added to the roster, this game has the potential to be even bigger! It also has a list of support characters! Perhaps something like Power Rangers Legacy Wars and how they use assist characters!

Above is the current roster of characters, the first being the actual playable ones and the second being the ‘assist’ characters. It’s also worth noting that the lovable loudmouth ‘Meatball’ from Dragula & Sloppy Seconds is the commentator!
A fully fledged career mode will have you chart your meteoric rise to B-list stardom, pitting drag queen versus drag queen in a rich narrative romp that has you rise to the top amongst a pile of bottoms. Training mode, as skinny as she is right now, will fill out into a full-bodied tutorial that walks players through the basics, and opens up frame data.

Honestly, this game does sound like it would be a blast and you can find the Demo for PC here! It seems the Development team even have ideas for a Nintendo Switch port later down the line, and I would love that!
With our vertical slice already behind us, we estimate our Beta to hit Q2 2023, and the finished game arriving Q1 2024. See our attached timeline, replete with pink hearts.

So, the end goal is a decent and nice-sounding $69,000! As someone who is on the LGBTQ+ spectrum, I really do adore the idea of this game and hope my idea of a Stiletto Roundhouse kick is added! I have high hopes for this game and am really looking forward to following its development cycle and even the possibility of having a Q+A with the team over at Fighting Chance Games about their vision and interests!
