After a long wait since its original announcement back in 2018 when it was still an HBO show, the Halo TV series has finally been announced for a launch date! Which is the 24th of March!
The Halo series is no longer an HBO show and is now going to be found on Paramount+, it is the first in many new shows coming to Paramount+ like Star Trek Picard and also Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. No doubt the many fans of Halo will flock to Paramount+ to see if this show truly does the Halo name justice.

Sadly, with no Paramount+ app in the UK it’s unknown when we’ll see this series.
Given that a new Star Trek show, and a key part of the international Paramount+ launch, is going to release in May 2022, it’s likely that Paramount+ will have arrived in the UK before then. Although this is far from confirmed.

As far as the casting goes,
Cortana will be played by Jen Taylor the iconic voice from the video games! As for the legendary Master Chief himself, Pablo Schreiber takes up this role. Pablo is famous for playing Nick Sobotka in ‘The Wire’ or “Pornstache” in Orange Is the New Black.

Natascha McElhone (The Truman Show) as Dr. Catherine Halsey, who fans will know is the very person who brought both Master Chief and the Spartan-II Project to life! She is also the very foundation for Cortana too.

Yerin Ha (Reef Break) will play Kwan Ha Boo, Charlie Murphy (Peaky Blinders, Happy Valley) is Makee, Shabana Azmi (24) portrays Admiral Margaret Parangosky, and Bokeem Woodbine (Spider-Man: Homecoming, Fargo) is Soren-066.
