Lego Star Wars Release Date Revealed!

After a very long wait, the new release date is finally here for Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga!

With a very complicated life already, the new Lego Star Wars game has caused a lot of waves in the media and any keen-eyed fan would have noticed this. From the three setbacks of a release date to the much more recent controversy surrounding TT Games; this game has seen a lot already and the scary part is that it hasn’t even been released yet.

Honestly, I am worried for the sake of this game and that is a saddening realisation. I have been playing Lego Star Wars games for years; it was one of the very first games I ever played and I have so many fond memories of playing through the very first Lego Star Wars game with my dad and even went for 100% completion on it. So, this is coming from someone with an emotional investment in this series. The constant controversies surrounding this game will put a lot of people off and given how long it took for us to even get this far, it makes me question if we’d get the planned DLC which was once rumoured to later see the introductions of The Mandolorian levels and even the promise of more.

Despite all of this though, I am hopeful this game is going to come out and be nothing but amazing like the games before it and that the final product is ultimately worth the endless hours of work.

The new release date is April the 5th on ALL Platforms(Though this could possibly change). This is fairly soon and honestly, I am just hoping this game sees a stellar release because it is clear to see the dev team have worked their hardest to pull off an amazing game. I for one will be picking this game up as soon as I can if not just to relive my childhood and immerse myself in a Lego filled world once again.
