As of December 15th GTA’s The Contract DLC has finally gone live and players can finally reunite with a beloved character from the GTA V story mode, Franklin Clinton. In this article, I’ll take you through a brief look at what this update delivers in terms of goodies!

This update reunites us with Franklin Clinton who now has his own hustle working with celebrity contacts and all. This itself is available to the player in four different locations to set up your new business venture.
With prices ranging from $2,010,000 – $2,830,000 (note this is without any upgrades at all.) Each building has five upgrades, which of course in true GTA fashion are all highly-priced. The upgrades are as follows: Art, Wallpaper, Highlight, Armoury, Accommodation & Vehicle Workshop. The least expensive is Highlight costing $100,000 and the most expensive is the Vehicle Workshop which costs $800,000.

This DLC also comes with seven new cars. They all look pretty sweet; personally, I’m looking forward to getting the Buffalo STX! Four of these have some pretty unique upgrades too.
These four cars are: The Dewbauchee Champion, Bravado Buffalo STX, Enus Deity & Enus Jubilee. The unique upgrades are machine guns, slick mines, a remote control unit (to pilot cars remotely), and even a missile lock-on jammer. That last one is a personal highlight!

Further additions include a compact EMP Launcher and Stun Gun. The latter has seen use in the Story mode. However, this update also saw the addition of some things we cannot see, more background updates. The most notable background update is the reduction of those annoying, pesky phone calls the player gets badgered with when playing GTA Online.
Daily Fees for properties and businesses have been lowered in price. Auto Shop contracts, customer deliveries, and Exotic Exports deliveries now reward LS Car Meet Reputation. Finally, the Night Club and Arcade safes have been upgraded to hold more cash!
The last thing this update has added is very subtle. If you decide to take a trip to Franklin’s house in the Hills you can see his plaque now reads ‘The Clintons’. He has also upgraded his car by the looks of it! Along with this, you can see a child’s slide in his backyard.
The question I hear you ask, dear reader, is ‘Who might Frankin’s baby mama be?’ Well, we can find out by taking a simple look at the red car in the driveways license plate which reads ‘Tanisha’, Franklin’s ex-flame from the Story mode. It seems true love does win, even in GTA! (Either that or Franklin finally got rid of that Yee-Yee ass haircut)
