New Matrix Resurrections Trailer Released!

Warner Brothers have released the second trailer for the highly anticipated Matrix film, which will be released in cinemas later this month.

This will be the first Matrix film to grace our screens since the release of The Matrix Revolutions in 2003. The latest instalment of the Matrix film franchise sees the return of Keanu Reeves as Neo and Carrie-Anne Moss as Trinity. However, Laurence Fishburne has been replaced by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II to play Morpheus, as a younger man. This comes after his critically acclaimed role as Anthony McCoy in Candyman earlier this year.

In this new teaser trailer it appears that they are leaning toward the past Matrix films, in order to keep the overall idea alive. With the previously mentioned Laurence Fishburne, Morpheus appearing in the trailer.

The Matrix Resurrections is released in cinemas on the 22nd December.

Comment below your thoughts about the new teaser trailer, we at All Maverick would love to know!
