Oh, today is a good day! It’s been announced that the highly anticipated Star Wars series, Obi-Wan Kenobi, is to start filming in April. Ewan McGregor will pick up his lightsaber once again as the story picks up 10 years after he left Anakin Skywalker a burning mess on Mustafar.
Obi-Wan Kenobi will be exclusive to Disney+ and I certainly can’t wait for its release.
Better still, they have announced the main cast for the series which includes Hayden Christensen reprising his role as Darth Vader. Who is looking forward to Obi-Wan vs Anakin/Vader round 2?
Its a fantastic cast and I’m pleased to see Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse return as Owen and Beru Lars. I’m also a big fan of Rupert Friend so very interested to see what role he plays in the series.
